I’m very thankful, if Crossroads wasn’t here I don’t know what I would do. My family was like “you are young, what are you going to do?” But at Crossroads they give you resources and I am very thankful there is this place here.

Sometimes I thought I was weak coming here. But they’ve shown me that it takes a lot of strength to ask for help. It became a place of hope because I was scared. I didn’t know what to do and I was in a bad situation. If it weren’t for Crossroads I’d don’t know where I’d be.

I was afraid when I first came to Crossroads. I thought I was going to be judged because I was judged out in the real world . . .but when I came here they just accepted me with open arms and made me feel loved.

Crossroads is sort of like my safe haven. They have helped me to get my own apartment and encouraged me to leave toxic things behind. It has been worth all my time coming to Crossroads.
